In the use of the process because of improper use and other reasons tend to cause a variety of problems in the softened water equipment, today we share the common problems in softened water treatment, caused by the control valve softened water treatment problems, here we look at the problem.

01 Drainage port continuous drainage
1, the valve body internal leakage
(1) Poor quality of incoming water, containing large particles of material will be the spool of the fixed sealing piece scratched resulting in water leakage.
(2) The rubber ring under the fixed sealing piece is damaged. Mainly caused by the installation or maintenance is not in place or the water contains impurities.
(3) Cracking of the movable piece leads to water leakage. Mainly caused by freezing or impurities.

1. Manual valve (including manual filter valve and manual softening valve) handle is not turned into place.
2. Inlet water quality is poor, containing large particles of material will be spool of the fixed sealing piece scratched, resulting in water leakage (according to the different parts of the scratched, and sometimes only the drainage port out of the water, salt suction port does not run out of water).
3. The fixed column of the valve head positioning plate is damaged, resulting in inaccurate positioning and leakage.

5. Installation of the center tube is too long, the lower watercloth damage, quartz sand or activated carbon particles from the lower watercloth leakage will be fixed sealing piece damage.
6. The back pressure rubber seal of automatic softening valve is not good or the inlet pressure is too high resistance between sealing surfaces increases, so that the end of the big gear in place after rebound.
7. There is hot water backflow, so that the valve scalded.
8. Note that the pressure in the system should not be less than 0.2MPa.

03 Salt tank water overflow
1、Too much water replenishment
(1) The replenishment time is not set correctly. The time setting is too long, resulting in a large amount of make-up water.
(2) Feed water pressure is unstable, resulting in too much make-up water.
(3) The control valve controlled by electric ball valve, the electric ball valve is not closed tightly

3、Replenishment of water to the salt tank during backwashing
When backwashing, the outlet and salt suction port are connected, and the water in the outlet pipe or storage tank will flow backward to the salt suction port during backwashing. In the installation of the control valve of the water softening equipment, Fangquan water purification recommended water storage tank and outlet pipe lower than the control valve, if higher than the control valve, you can use the following two methods to solve the problem of replenishment of water to the salt tank during backwashing.

04 Resin loss
1、Resin discharge
(1)The upper water distributor is damaged or detached, and the resin is discharged from the drain when backwashing.
(2) Resin is discharged during positive washing or operation. The center tube is too long and the lower watercloth is easily damaged during installation, resulting in resin discharge.
(3) Drainage flow restriction is not good, backwashing intensity is high, resin is discharged from the drain after broken
(2) Softened water or regeneration discharge
2、Softened water or regeneration wastewater is yellow, that is, the exchange agent produces sol-gel phenomenon
(1) The water temperature is too high or pH value is too high, beyond the stable range of the exchange agent, so that the exchange agent coking.
(2) After the loss of water, the exchange agent is suddenly swollen in contact with water, resulting in fragmentation.
