With the improvement of the quality of life and the popularization of the concept of water purification, many users are thinking of installing an RO machine at home to enjoy the convenient drinking experience of filtering and drinking. But before the installation, some users raised concerns: the usual water pressure in my house is relatively small, can it meet the working requirements of the RO machine? I heard that RO has the opportunity to produce wastewater.

One knowledge point a day, learn more about water. In this water purification class, we take the AICKSN RO-200 water purifier as an example to discuss the water pressure requirements of the RO machine and why there is wastewater in the RO machine.

01. The water pressure at home is low, can an RO machine be installed?
The RO machine is divided into two types with pump and without pump, and the required water inlet pressure is different. The inlet water pressure requirement of RO machine without booster pump is 0.1-0.4Mpa; the inlet water pressure requirement of RO machine with booster pump is only 0.1-0.4Mpa.

The minimum water pressure of tap water in our country is 0.14Mpa, that is to say, even if the water pressure in the user's home is the national minimum standard, the AICKSN RO machine can be used normally without a pump. Therefore, the size of the water pressure will only affect which type of RO machine we install, but will not cause the RO machine to not be installed.

02. Why does the RO machine produce waste water?
The RO opportunity to generate and discharge wastewater is determined by its filtration principle. The filtration principle of the RO machine is to use the permeability of the RO membrane, use the pressure higher than the osmotic pressure as the driving force, and use the selective permeability of the RO membrane to only permeate water but not solutes, so as to transfer pure water to the RO membrane. One side penetrates, and the concentrated water with high concentration of mineral ions (that is, waste water) is left on the other side, and harmful substances such as bacteria, viruses and heavy metals in the water are discharged together with it.

Compared with the inevitable waste water, many users pay more attention to the taste of the pure water filtered by the RO machine.

The high-quality filter element of the direct drinking machine at the end of the AICKSN water purifier can efficiently filter the pollutants in the water, and at the same time absorb the residual chlorine products and different colors and odors in the water, and improve the taste; the RO membrane filter element located in the middle has a filtration accuracy of up to 0.0001 microns, which can effectively remove the lead in the water. , arsenic and other heavy metals, volatile organic compounds and other harmful substances; the high-quality ATS activated carbon rods selected for the front and rear filter elements have uniform particles, higher density, larger contact area with water, better filtration effect, and more natural and sweet taste. .

The pure water filtered by the AICKSN water purifier can make the tea soup clearer and the tea fragrance more melodious when used for making tea; it can also better stimulate the flavor of the ingredients itself when used for cooking, making the product more delicious.
