First, the classification of the membrane shell        

At present, the commonly used membrane shell is made of food-grade PP material, glass fiber reinforced plastic, stainless steel and other materials through high temperature or dissolution production. Its main role is to carry a variety of equivalent models of ultrafiltration membranes, reverse osmosis membrane containers, to ensure that the membrane in the filtration of water when the effect is better, to avoid leakage or reduce water quality. According to the material division, the market membrane shell has PP plastic, transparent glass tube, stainless steel, fiberglass membrane shell four kinds.

But in the wear-resistant, pressure-resistant, anti-aging performance is a little worse, if the water pressure is too large, may cause the outer wall breakage, water leakage failure.        
2, transparent glass tube membrane shell pressure resistance in the plastic above, transparent outer wall can directly see the use of the film. However, the glass belongs to the fragile products, the use rate is less, mostly used in some special industries.       
 3, stainless steel membrane shell in the quality and pressure resistance is better, anti-aging also has advantages. But the material requirements are more stringent, the price is a little more expensive, mostly used in commercial and industrial water purification products.        
4, fiberglass reinforced plastic membrane shell is a microcomputer-controlled automated winding molding, the main material is epoxy resin and fiber. The material is processed by a special technology, so that the finished product in the pressure resistance, temperature resistance, corrosion resistance to the extent of ordinary steel, plastic and other materials can not be compared to the advantages.        
From the above analysis of the membrane shell fiberglass and stainless steel is a good choice. But how to choose between the two? The following are detailed, you can choose according to their own needs and cost analysis.

Second, stainless steel membrane shell        

Stainless steel membrane shell is a basic component of mechanical equipment, the material is 304 stainless steel seamless tube, according to the end cap sealing form can be divided into: clamp type, flange type, built-in type; according to the water inlet can be divided into: end into the side of the inlet.        Membrane shell length and reverse osmosis membrane module number of matching; products inside and outside the polished, beautiful and practical, the use of pressure can reach the normal operation of the system pressure requirements.

Third, fiberglass reinforced plastic membrane shell        

Fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) membrane shell is manufactured by computer program-controlled winding unit and high-performance processing equipment. The main performance characteristics are as follows:        
1、Excellent and reliable inner quality: the product adopts microcomputer-controlled automatic winding molding, and the main materials are epoxy resin and fiber. The materials are processed by special technology, so that the finished products have the advantages of pressure resistance, temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, which are incomparable with those of ordinary steel, plastic and other materials.       
 2, excellent insulating properties: fiberglass reinforced plastic membrane shell at room temperature conditions, the thermal conductivity is generally in the range of 0.15-1.36W (m.k), about only 1/200. its thermal insulation performance is incomparable to metal materials. This characteristic of the membrane shell within the reverse osmosis membrane is very good, can isolate the outside temperature on the membrane influence.        
3, outstanding corrosion resistance: glass fiber and epoxy resin combined with the ratio of special curing treatment, the formation of a natural corrosion-resistant products, the inner surface of the smooth and coating on the lower concentration of acid, alkali, salt, oil and other solvents have good stability. The seawater and microorganisms entering the shell are effectively suppressed. Long-term use of absolutely no corrosion.      
 4, structural design: the membrane shell of the barrel, the head, the groove after strict layering design, optimize the calculation details to ensure structural safety, to ensure the safety and stability of the structure under long-term pressure. The thick water side opening has been optimized to meet the necessary safety pressure of four side openings in one head, and the variability in the installation process has been strengthened.       
 5, the reliability of components: end plate is an important part of the membrane shell assembly, end plate material for fiber reinforced molded plastic, high strength, pressure resistance, high pressure impact resistance performance is excellent. The sealing design is professionally designed “V+X” ring with O-type end-plate sealing ring, which ensures that it is watertight at low and high temperatures.       
 6, high-quality product performance: the inner structure is safe and reliable. The combination of excellent supporting components makes the sealing pressure performance higher. Excellent external surface treatment, so that the product in any hot and humid environment is still as new.
