There are many types of household water purification equipment, and different types provide different water purification functions. I will use relatively simple language to introduce common household water purification equipment.
Pre-filter: installed in the water pipe to filter large particles, such as sand, rust, one-time input, no electricity, no consumables, as long as it is backwashed regularly, the main function is to extend the replacement of consumables for the water purifier at home Time, protect water equipment, such as home showers (especially thermostatic showers), faucets, smart toilets and the like. It is recommended to install.

RO membrane water purifier: It is the most accurate type of water purifier at present. It can filter heavy metals, viruses, etc. Except for water molecules, almost all other impurities can't pass. The water that comes out can be drunk directly even if it is not boiled. To be plugged in, there is waste water, and there are consumables. This is usually installed in the cupboard under the sink to solve the drinking water.

Ultrafiltration water purifier: The filtration accuracy is second only to RO membrane, which can filter bacteria-grade substances, but heavy metals, viruses, and trace elements cannot be filtered. The water that comes out has to be boiled before drinking. No electricity, no waste water, and consumables. This volume is generally relatively large, and is usually installed in the kitchen.

Water softener: It mainly uses ion exchange resin to remove calcium and magnesium ions in the water to reduce water hardness and scale production. There are consumables. This volume is also relatively large, generally to solve the softening of the water quality of the whole house, but it cannot replace the RO membrane water purifier, and the softened water cannot be drunk directly.

Pipeline machine: In fact, it is an advanced water dispenser, used with the RO membrane water purifier. The water from the RO membrane water purifier is directly heated or cooled by the pipeline machine, and it is ready to use. There is no need for kettles and thermos at home.

I personally think that ordinary households recommend a front-mounted +RO membrane water purifier. If you don’t want to boil water and don’t want to put a thermos at home, you can buy a pipeline machine. Ice water. Of course, there are some people who don't like RO membrane, then buy an ultrafiltration machine, but the ultrafiltration must be boiled before drinking. In addition, if the local scale is too serious, consider the whole house water softener, the price is higher.
